commences next Monday for a week -- Republican County Convention at Wheelmen's Hall today -- Called to order at 10:30 by G F Turrittin, Chairman County Central Committee -- Col H B Maxon made Chairman, Higgin's Secy and W Fogg asst Secy -- Alf Doten Sergeant-at-arms -- I was elected by strong acclamation -- no rival -- Wheelmens Band did the music -- Recess at 10:30 for 20 minutes -- then Comm on credentials report adopted -- Comms on Platform and Resolutions, and on Order of Business were selected and recess taken till 1:30 -- when committee reports were read & adopted, & convention proceeded to select a new County Central Comm of 13 -- The State Senator P L Flanigan of Reno was nominated by acclamation -- For, Assemblymen S J Hodgkinson -- G W Robinson, L A Blakeslee, and Tom Pixley, were nominated -- The following nominations were made for regular county officers --
