Clear & very pleasent -- Paid my present Centeniial assessment -- $46.10 -- 5 cents per share, delinquent this day -- Through in office at 1:30 bed at 5 -- going to Reno tomorrow -- Was weighed today in Hatch's store -- 199 pounds
Thursday Nov 26
The same -- Rose at 7 -- took train at 8 for Reno -- took along my dirty clothes, pair of ducks, and a gallon demijohn of sweet cider -- All right at home -- Ruel Waggoner, and Katie & Louise Hammond of Austin, now attending the Bishop's school were present at dinner at 4, 2 turkeys, cranberry sauce, pie, cake etc -- 11 of us in all -- After dinner I strung up old banjo & we had a little concert --

Friday Nov 27
Same -- Rose at 6 as usual in time to catch the 7:10 morning train -- wife went with me to depot -- train over 2 hours late -- having to wait for California train to get on -- that train delayed from being overloaded with too many cars -- Left for Va at 10 AM -- Arrived at Va at 12:30 -- PM work as usual -- Mining day -- Through in office at 2 -- Bed at 4 -- Got letters today from Will W Booth, in a store at
