Hard Waffles -Lyndia-

Mix one quart of milk, with three pints of flour, and let it stand three, or four hours. Then add six ounces of liquid butter, & four eggs well beaten_ Stir these ingredients together_ Two table spoonsfull of the above, quick fills over Circular waffle iron_ Ocassionally, owing to the quality of flour, it may require, a little more, than the above=named quantity. A pitcher of cream, instead of all milk, is better_
