Corotomon Sept. 5. 1738
Sir,

Tho I have already sent you an Invoice of goods from Shirley, yet I am oblidged to give you the Trouble of another small one for goods to be sent to this place. As my affairs make it necessary for me to pass a good part of the year at this part of my Estate, and as it is very inconvenient to remove pewter, Table Linnen, & other Furniture from Shirley & back again, by which ther are much Injured & lost, I have thought it the Best way to have a supply at each place. My stable being a few days ago burn'd to the ground here by a flash of Lightning with almost all my Bridles and Saddles & some Coach Harness, it is Impossible for me to do Without such a supply as may serve my occasions, the rest of the Invoice can amount to but little. I desire you would lend them by the first good ship bound for Rappa.
