Same report as yesterday - slightly cooler however and sighted a 4 masted Cumander? evidently from Boston to the Mediterranean. About 10 o'clock at night were within about two miles of the "Bovic" and echanged signals - very interesting in mid-ocean.

Sea perfectly smooth nearly dea? calm all day Could see the smoke of a steamer below the horizon for several hours.
A man in the steerage had a fit and the passengers tried to nurse him and prevent a little pale faced blue eyed crippled son from coming near him but the little fellow fought like a mad man to get near his father and when successful put his arms around the father's neck soothing and comforting him until the father calmed down and was over the worst when the little cripple cryed over him and patted him on the back with his small thin white hands and gently lead him below.
