to the Ground & the frost on Our Blankets

Wednesday 19th
This day was the Coldest day that our Army
has Experance in the Crimea we could not
Work had to go down to Balaklava for Timber
Some of Our Men got frostbitten in thear Ruturn

Sunday 23rd
Had to go down to Balaklava for Timber.
W.R. Spent the Afternoon with me in the Tent.

Monday 24th
Rec~d 5..9..6. Stoped 17..6 for Freight in the
Schooner Rechard from Tunis to Malta
Very Cold & Snowey all day. Went into a Hut

Tuesday 25th
Went to Doneybrook Bort things for the day
After dinner went down & spent the After
part of the day at the Gaurds Camp

Sunday 30th
Fine day & went To the Town of Sebastopol
On the french Side over the Floating
Bridge. Come home through the Redan
