are any letters for me, there are none. I knew there
could not be any, but when the mail is in I shall
go there and have one. I shall be so delighted. You cannot
think how writing every day, makes one feel, I seem
to talk with you every day. It is a great boon and
pleasure to be able to do so. I must now, with kindest
love to you all, wish you a very good night. I am
just ready to slip into bed, I undress, and sit in my
night-gown, and write this process cools me, with
love again, good night. Sunday Night. I got up
this morning at eight o'clock. Had breakfast at nine.
Went to St James' Cathedral. This Cathedral is not finished
yet, it will be a splendid pile of buildings when it is.
It has tell Cecilia, a beautiful toned, and very large
organ, it was played very skilfully, and with a great
deal of taste. I was very disappointed in the singing.
In the afternoon, I went a stroll in the park grounds
round the university, it will be an enormous pile
of buildings when completed. In the evening I went
to the Scotch Church or Presbyterian. I did not like
it at all, t'was very dull, and they had no organ.
I believe they will not allow an instrument in their
Churches. I shan't go again. There is no established
