Church in Canada. Any Curate or Rector, can be made
a Bishop. The Bishop is elected by the clergy and laity.
I have taken another strole since church time. Toronto is
a beautifully built city. Every street runs either north or south,
or east and west, and every street and road in the city, and
out of it is the same width. I have to be up early to-morrow
so must get to bed by ten o'clock to night. Have I told you
that nearly all the streets in Toronto have rows of trees
between the pavement and the road, and where there
were none they were planting them. Every house has
Venetian blinds. Monday Night 12 o'clock London, county
of Middlesex. This morning we got up at 6 o'clock, and took
Steamer across Lake Ontario to Clifton. From Clifton we
went to the Falls of Niagara. We went about and spent the
whole of the day in view of the Falls, Rapids, River &c. I am
so tired I must postpone description till to-morrow, suffice
it to say, that I have been as far under the falling sheet
