Sat Jan 13 Nice still and warm.
The boys finished the ice job and put a
little hay into the loft. I went to
town and I had an interview with
Dr Wright and he treated me again
so I am pretty sore now certain.
Mother went to town with me and we
took dinner with Mr Smiths folks
and went then to Charleys and then
to John Dragers and staid [stayed] there over
night etc.

Sunday the 14 Franks folks
went to Reas's I guess and Lews
folks were at home when we
got home to night. We visited
at Johns most all day and stopped
at Charleys on the way some and got
home about sun down.

Mon Jan 13 Clear mostly and
still and warm. Lew and Frank hauled
4 loads of hay from C V Howards. I split
wood some and this afternoon wrote to
A M Corbit and one to Mr and Mrs Wm H
Robinson.

Tues Jan 16 Pretty nice this forenoon
but this afternoon the wind blew quite
hard by spells. The boys got two loads of
hay from C V Howards and this afternoon they
cut wood. I worked up at the cattle pens
most of this forenoon and at the bee hives
this afternoon. Made a busy day.
