For the first time and not try visits if only one of the two firsts of this family [Passmist?] is here - dear Mrs. Sewell is away in Arizona. From July 17th to Aug. 31, 1893 - at No. 57 Maple Street, Chicago, Ill - have I been the honored guest of my dear friends Theodore L. and May Wright Sewall - in their World's Fair home - and now leave for Kansas City - to attend the opening of the [?] Suffrage Amendment [?] for the election of 1894 -

With pleasant memories of my two weeks sojourn under this hospitable roof - the busy life of its "two heads in council" and the [president commissionings?] at [eventide?] - I this day - Friday May 20, 1887 - subscribe myself [theirs?].
