that I gave up all hopes of trying to sleep, so I got breakfast which I would have otherwise lost out on. It was worth getting up for. We had honest to God oat meal and milk. This was the second time that I have had mush since I left the U.S. Went out and watched the boys fly. Took in the movies at the Y.M. in the evening, and saw the first good picture that I have seen since since I left home. The picture was Douglas Fairbanks in the "Habit of Happiness." The Huns are raising Hell on the Aisne. They have taken Vailly, and Fismes.

(2) After the bath we were served hot chocolate and doughnuts. Then till noon we strolled around Kaiser Park, a very pretty place. We were served a fine meal with real china and napkins. During the meal a 48 piece band played and several singers sang. In the after -noon we were shown eleven reels of movies. until 3:15. Herb and I had a fine time and proceeded to drink much wine. Arrived at Tours at 6:30. Got out to the field about 8 o'clock. Found a lot of the old boys here. Some of them have their commissions. My first impressions of the place lead me to believe that I will like it here very much. The quarters are crowded, but the food is splendid, and we have French girls to wait on the table. No more washing of our own dishes.

Boat Club dance the 12th of March. It is one like they had before. It is on a Saturday night and so I told him I couldn't go, because I thought if you came up you might want to go. Besides he is the boy who always asks me out and I said I wouldn't go with him again.

I wrote you a letter last night but didn't mail it this morning, as I thought you might come up. I wrote it last night after we got home from the movies. Joc, Martha, Dad, Mother & I went up. Saw Douglas Fairbanks in the "Mask of Zorro". Very good.

that Martha gave me. Martha got the babies pictures yesterday and they are adorable. Leslie sent Joc some pictures that he took of Douglas Fairbanks and Joc sent them down to Martha. They are very good.

Again, I am telling you sweetheart, that I love you with all my heart and only you forever & ever.
