"to consider and report what measures, if any, should be taken to re-adjust or terminate the relations of this corporation to the Massachusetts Horticultural Society," and who were authorized "to obtain the opinion of counsel on the subject," be reappointed and its powers continued.
Unfinished business of last year re-referred to the several committees
Voted, – that such portions of the business referred, during the past year, to Committees of this Board as may not, to this date have been fully considered and determined on by them, be hereby referred anew to the several committees having cognizance thereof.
Statement of Lots sold not pd. for refd to Com. on Finance.
On motion of Mr Snow, it was
Voted, – that the Statement of Lots reported as sold which had not been paid for , be referred to the Committee on Finance.
Drainage into Cem. from neighboring buildings refd to Com. on Grounds.
Voted, – that the Superintendent's communication of , with regard to the drainage into the Cemetery precincts from certain buildings now being Erected in a street running from Mt Auburn St, West of the Reception house be referred to the Committee on Grounds.
Receiving Tomb, work on new. Notice of intention to ask appn for
The chairman of the Committee on Lots gave notice of an intention to ask at the next meeting of the Board for an appropriation exceeding one thousand dollars to be applied to the work on the new Receiving Tomb.
The Secretary having stated that the Committee on Lots had recommended the Trustees to guarantee the perpetual repair of Lot No 4296 on Fountain and

Halcyon Avenues, belonging to Moses A. Dow, for the sum of eleven hundred dollars; of Lot No 1780 on Pilgrim Path belonging to J. Huntington Wolcott for the sum of eight hundred dollars; and of Lot No 1781 on Pilgrim Path, lately owned by Samuel Frothingham deceased, for the sum of six hundred dollars, – it was
Voted, – that the aforesaid contracts be concurred in on the part of this Board.
Upon the petitions of the parties in interest representatives were designated for lots as follows, viz: –

In the matter of the perpetual care of Moses A. Dows [sic - Dow] Lot No 4296 Halcyon Ave, Please leave out of the estimate, the monument now in the lot, as Mr Dow has decided to replace the present structure with another of uncertain value, at present.
