To his Excellency Joseph McMinn
Sir I presided uppon [sic] the trial of the above named Tyre D. Green. I deem the Evidence of his guilt to be satisfactory - and his conduct relative to the commision of the Larceny such as to show that he possessed sufficent discretion to dis^cern between good and evil - It was however proven that he was between the age of 13 and 14 years when he committed the offence - and the conduct of two other men towards him might in some degree have induced him to undertake the commission of the crime for which he was convicted. on account therefore of these latter reasons I think he would be a suitable object of Executive Clemency and I should be gratified to see it exercised in his case.
