Morrison. Va. Feb - 4 - 1918

Dear Ted, Just a few lines to let you know that I am at Morrison Virginia now it is only six miles to New Port News that is the place where you said you might be sent to it sure is a fine climate here in this part of Virginia I know that you would like it here if ever they do send you here.

The ground is covered with snow and ice it is not as cold as one would think it would be the trees down here when they are covered with snow and ice it sure is a wonderful site to look at if you have never seen it before.

I think that Virginia is sure a good State the bad weather will soon be over with here about the 15th of this month they say.

Say Ted I feel like I could write a book this afternoon on the snow here gives me lots of pep and one sure does feel fine in a climate like this.

Well Ted I will close now as I want to write two more letters while I feel like writing so will close with Love and Best wishes to you and all and also hope that this letter finds you all well.

Larson and I just took a walk down to the little town of Morrison they have not got nothing much there all I could see was a couple of old stores and what I mean they are regular old time stores like they used to have in the early days they have some good old apple cider there and what I mean it sure is good I had a couple glasses of it and it sure did taste good to me.
