Thursday, Jan. 13, 1921.

My dearest Edward,

There isn't much news to-night but I will tell you all that has happened. I didn't go out to College until ten this morning, for History. I have Prof. Herbert Eugene Bolton, he is going to begin the History lectures next Tuesday. The Auditorium is simply crowded, I have to go early in order to get a seat.

This afternoon Carol had a few of us girls down. Had lots of fun, we just sat and talked also ate, it wouldn't be a party unless we ate. That is what makes me so fat, eating in the afternoons. Mu and Bob are going to the Thomas dance

I studied up in the library to-day for an hour on my History. I am getting to be very studious. Prof. Bolton is back and gave the lecture in History this morning.

There is absolutely no news to-night, dear, except the same old story in the same old way, I love you. I wonder if you ever get tired of hearing it. I hope not because you will hear it many, many more times.

Last night I was so sleepy I could hardly keep my eyes open, so went to bed before nine o'clock. I know this is a short note, dear, but it is better than nothing. Hope I get a letter to-morrow.

Love, Marion.

couldn't go in. I stayed out at college until two to-day. After lunch some of us went up and sat on the lawn to study. The lawns were just covered with students. This morning our history section teacher went over the ex questions with us. I studied two hours on history this morning. I am getting my questions all written out. Prof. Bolton was away to-day so Pres. Barrows gave the history lecture. He is very interesting.

Carol has been over this afternoon. She wants me to go swimming with her as soon as I get out of college.

Well, Snedie dear I wish I was going to see you Saturday.
