Subject: Foreman made grading estimates.

[letterhead: JACKSON & CURTIS, Note and Stock Brokers, 24 CONGRESS STREET, Boston, Oct. 25th 1880.]

Dear Sir

The land is low on one part of the enclosed marked 2147, 2148, & 2149. - so that the water stands there. I believe your foreman estimated that it would cost $30.-- (thirty dollars.) to raise this part properly & resod it.

If I am right, will you please have this work done, & send me the bill.

Ys truly C. Jackson

Mr J. W. Lovering Sup't. Mt Auburn
