Two Designs for Iron doors prepared in 1872 by Mr. G. J. F. Bryant, the original Architect of the Tomb, are enclosed in the Portfolio; one of cast, one of plate or boiler iron.

A very light and airy door^ of wrought iron was prepared for the Forest Hills Rec'g Tomb, by Messrs. Smith & Savitt, You will find a note of their estimate that they could duplicate that door for $1000.00.

Above mentioned papers and several others, (viz Envelopes endorsed with contents) are enclosed also sketch of Rec. Tomb (Plan) at Forest Hills Cem.

J.T. Bradlee Esq Prest.

Dear Sir

A.J. Breed has requested permission to keep a horse & carriage at the Cemetery for the accommodation of visitors.

His success at Forest Hills has induced him to try here & he agrees, if permission is given him to furnish a vehicle &c which shall be acceptable to the Corporation.

The sods on the upper part of Auburn Lake, which I called your attention to a few days ago, can be replaced for $90. ~

Respectfully J.W. Lovering Supt
