TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR. AND CITY COUNCIL FORT WORTH TEXAS.
Gentlemen:-
As it is well known. Profesor Terrell, with the assistance of the Pupils of the Colored Schools of Fort Worth Texas. gave an enter tainment at the City Hall. for the benefit of the colored Normal Summer School. and that the amount realized from the entertainment, was about thirty Dollars. Five dollars of which was paid to the City as Rent for the use of the City Hall Auditorium. be it Resolved-
That the City Secretary be hereby authorized and instructed to draw warrant remit to Professor Terrell this $5.00 the same to be applied to this worthy cause.

Be it Resolved,
We, Your Committee, to whom was referred the attached claim of E.J. Hollis for $600.00 for auditing the accounts in the case of City of Fort Worth vs Max Elser City Treasurer et al. beg leave to report that we think the account out of all reason, and ask that same be not allowed for the reason, first that theis same work was originally done by our City Secretary in 14 days. also by our Ex Auditor in about the same time, 2nd Mr. Hollis was only verifying his own work and we dont think his time was worth or he would be allowed pay at the rate of anout $43.00 per day by any court in the country if above facts were shown and 3rd when city had a valid claim against Mr. Hollis same had to be disccounted 45% to get a settlement.
