Pa Tpk. At 6:30 decided to keep going. To J's by 9:45, B[?] by 10:15, well frazzled.

9/17 - Unpacked & rested - worn out dinner at home

9/18 - To Marje's - Ted here! Lunch Mrs. McD. Home by 4:45. Dinner at Silver. Permanent at 9.

9/19 - Hunk & Gus here for lunch, P home. Very charming. To see Kid for 2 farthings - P didn't like

9/20 - To Marje's & Fern's, to 7 Corners. Mobs! Lunch at Hogate's & to K[?] No dress I wanted. P came home early, foot painful. Got hand bag.

9/21 - Prue home. Took Johnsie's things to her. She gave me flask & necklace.

22 - Pr to painting. In aft marketing & to Wheaton for fruit.

23 - Nonie here for dinner, left at 5. Pr & I had scrabble games

24 - To city, leaving Honey on Alaska Ave.

Met J at Woodies, shopped several places, finally found dress at Jelleffs. Back for car then M's for late lunch. Ripped sleeve to alter dress. Home worn out Pr late, P worried. She had been run into!

25. Pr took Chev to work. I sewed on dress, getting it done.

26. Rain at night when we saw Victor Borge - bored us! Home late

27. What's left of Flossie! Rain & wind. Hair done. Pr to ins co in same bldg. Pap to Balto. M. broke dinner date a/c rain so we had steak at home. Packed.

28. Took Pr to Pent & left 9:15. Stopped at Battle Abbey in Rich & B'ville for lunch. Wrong turn & around by Oxford. HP by 5:30 DST. May called.

29. Tarred! Took monkey stuffing & Warren ear bobs to May, not well &

looking untidy. Nap in aft & late to see Gracie, took str jam & visited while she ate early supper.

30. Hot! Took Faye to dinner at McCh[?] Saw G. Woods. Back to Fay's & by May's for short ride.

Oct 1. To town for thread, etc. Sewed on [?] dress, awkward! M & I took F. to airport & had lunch there.

2. Hot again! To May's to see Cous. Eliz Bower - charming. Nap in carport in aft. Robts over before dinner. Faye called.

3. Transferred to diary which came from Alrina Motel, Savona, NY Rt 1 where I left it 9/15.

leave Marian's at 9:15 AM Arr. Atlanta 6:00 30296 363mi Phoned from Avondale + John & Irene came for us. Lovely home, good drinks & steak dinner.

2-10 Left with John taking us to P[?] where we got lost within 3 blocks! On down to below Waycross all set for swamp trip.

2-11 Rained hard in early AM & still at it after br. so we forewent Swamp. Reached Leesburg early afternoon. Taken out to lake to see lot. Ate a fruit from trees. Rode around town. Dinner at H. Johnsons.

2/12 Left Leesburg early - breakfast at Dade City. Greek food at Tarpon Spgs. Ate at Clearwater B. Saw May Dawson at R. Beach across new Bay Bridge from St. Pete. Night at Sarasota.
