Wine Sauce

Sweeten 1/2 pt milk beat the yolk of 1 egg light, mix with the milk, place in a milk boiler stir until it begins to stick to the spoon, (placing the cold water in the lower part of boiler as soon as the water boils) the milk has boiled sufficiently remove from fire add cinnamon and wine to taste.

In using a milk boiler if the liquid is placed in the upper part cold and the water in the lower part cold as soon as the water in the lower part boils the milk in the upper part is sufficiently boiled

Wine Sauce

Sweeten 1/2 pt of milk to taste beat the yolk of 1 egg, light mix with the milk, place in a milk boiler stir until it begins to stick to the spoon, remove from the fire add cinnamon and wine to taste. Serve hot. Do not let it on the fire even a minute after it sticks to to the spoon or it will curdle
