Cheese Pudding

6 oz grated cheese 3 " bread-crumbs 2 eggs enough milk to make it the consistency of batter.

Thickly butter a pie-dish, mix together the crumbs cheese and salt + pepper to taste beat the eggs, add to the milk and mix altogether. Turn the mixture into the pie dish bake in a moderate oven till just set and a nice brown. Serve immediately.

Yankee Cake

1 pt of flour 2 eggs 1 cup of sugar a piece of butter size of an egg a little nutmeg a " lemon juice 1 teaspoonful baking powder.
