or until marmalade has the
consistency of thick, heavy jam.
This will make 3 qts.
Corn Fritters
2 C canned corn | 1 t melted shortening |
1 t salt | 1 egg, well beaten |
pepper | ½ C milk |
2 C flour | 2 t baking powder |
order given, drop by spoonfuls
into deep, hot fat + fry 2 or 3 min.
Serve with maple sirup.
