This will make 3 qts.
Corn Fritters


2 C canned corn 1 t melted shortening
1 t salt 1 egg, well beaten
pepper ½ C milk
2 C flour 2 t baking powder
Mix the ingredients in the
order given, drop by spoonfuls
into deep, hot fat + fry 2 or 3 min.
Serve with maple sirup.
