Vinegar Pie
1½ C sugar + 5 T flour sifted
to-gether
Yolks of 5 eggs, whites for
frosting
8 T vinegar butter ½ size of egg
1 t lemon
1 C of hot water
Bread + Butter Pickles
Slice Cucumbers with out removing
the peeling + pack in jars.
To each one qt jar add
2 t salt + 1 t mustard
Heat 1 qt of vinegar, 1 cup sugar
a heaping T of pickling spice.
Pour over pickles.
