Hello Everybody:

Your letters received and good advice noted. It came a little bit late and I knew most of it any way, but their [there] were good intentions behind it, I know. The brownies you sent were excellent. If you are ever hard up for something to send me, th brownies will be welcome any time. I sent the spray back, or meant to if I didn't, because there was nothing in the bottle when I got it. It was all in the box and I couldn't very well take it from the box and use it. The pictures you sent make the room look a whole

lot better. They are just what I wanted. I hope Ted sends the banners and I also hope I can use the tux.

Norm went home yesterday Friday. He was just about all better, and will be back to-day, I think. Bill came up Friday and is spending the week end here. Yesterday Andover heldhad a varied sports program. There was an indoor track meet with Huntington school which we won easily. We've got a fellow up here named Furse who has beaten the, unofficially, the cage record for the 600 yd. run. He sure can tear around that track. Andover is expecting great things from him this spring. We got beat 51-26 in basketball

by Southeastern, and won the swimming meet from Huntington. I took in a little bit of all of them. We had "Speak Easily" with Jimmy Durante & Buster Keaton here to night in for the movies. It was fair. I can't think of anything else to say right now and I've got some work to do so I guess I'll close.

Wed [underlined]

Dear Mom & Dad:

Norm came back Sunday & I have begun working with him. Got down payment of $5. They said they would send me one of those zipper jackets from the mill. Got all your letters. The weather is warm up here & I got some baseball practice in this afternoon I'm sure the Yale Club will have a successful year with you at the helm. Hope you are both feeling better. I've spoken to Ladd and am assured of a job this summer. If you can find a more attractive job, I'll be glad to consider it. The raincoat is going to be all right, I think. Send me some correspondent cards.

So long for now. Rock
