in intellect, noble in character, sublime in his humanity, never allowing prejudice to interfere with his keen sense of justice, always reliable, always true.

I think of you a dozen times a day and pray God that he will send you consolation and give you the power to look beyond the dark clouds that now surround

you to the bright future which awaits you in eternity. There is a great work left for you to do and I know you will do it faithfully and well, so that you will not only have the approval of your Heavenly Father but of your loved ones, who await you on the other shore. I wish I could be with you to sympathize

with you in person, I should love to sit and talk to you about your beloved husband whom I admired so much, but as that is impossible I can only pray for you each day, that our Heavenly Father will keep very near to you and give you His sustaining grace each moment for without it I feel you could

not live. When you feel able to do so I wish you would write to me. I should love so much to hear from you.
