Greetings from Stratford:

Actually I'm not there anymore but it sounds good anyway. Sorry it's been so long since I've written, but the play really kept me busy there for awhile and nothing else got done including schoolwork, letter writing and everything else I should have been doing. Happy to say the show went pretty well. Our audience was pleased and there weren't many major mistakes, I couldn't ask for much more than that. Talked to mom, dad and Denise yesterday, she told me all the current news, what there was to tell that is, and it was fun to talk to Denise again. Oh, thanks so much for the gift. I'm sure it will be very useful while I'm on the continent. What else? Oh, Startford was really great, we saw Romeo and Juliet done by the Royal Shakespeare company, all modern but really done pretty well and quite enjoyable. Not much else happening but going to plays and doing massive amounts of work (still 3 papers and a final left in the next 10 days plus packing. Take care, I love you - Vickie

Hi Grandma:

Sorry it's been so long, but it was a bit tough to get much off while I was away. There is a [marathon?] letter with a detailed account of what I did over the break on it's way via Denise and mom and dad because I was too lazy to write it three times. Since then not much has happened, I'm settled in my new room, the play I'm directing will get rolling with auditions on Tuesday, and I'm going to France next weekend to see Joz and Julie, two of the roommates from last year -- I haven't seen either of them for 4 months, and I can't wait to actually get to talk to them.
