Hi Grandma! Not much room to write but this will show you I was here. I spent one full day just wandering around not believing I was here. The cherry blossom festival was this week, but as usual the trees aren't in bloom yet. They figure they should be in bloom in a week or so - around Easter time. I did get a job for the summer with a law firm here and I'm excited about itI'll tell you more about that leter. Home tomorrow and back to school on Monday - vacation has gone too fast as usual. Hi Grandma! Sorry it's been a while, and it's only a post card now, but I only got back from break yesterday, so I thought I'd better write before I got caught up in school work. This is one of the 8 cathedrals we managed to see along with 8 castles and assorted other things including some beautiful scenery (especially in Wales) over our 5 days out. The people I went with have a used car they bought when they got here, so we traveled in virtual luxury, not having to wait for trains or buses the whole time. We just went where we wanted when we wanted, which was really nice for a change, but it will be difficult for me to go back to traveling the other way. Overall the trip went really well, the three of us got along really well even though we were cooped up for 5 straight days in a very small car doing about 1500 miles worth of driving -- we had a few sharp words but no major arguements or anything -- really a refreshing change from what I'm used to on trips like that. It's almost lunchtime, I think what I'll do is stop here and write you a more detailed letter within the next couple of days. Take care of yourself, and give my love to all. I LOVE YOU Vickie

Hi Grandma! I trust all is going well, I don't have much time right now, so I'm just zipping off a post card since I'll be traveling most of next week and may not have much time to write this. I saw St. Paul's on Monday, or as much as we could since there was a service in progress at the time and we had to make an appointment on the other side of London. It's an amazing building, a little gaudy for me, but beautiful and well done for the period nonetheless. My previous travel plans have changed completely and it's currently really up in the air, so I'll have to see what happens -- ask mom for the details on the problem if you'd like. Take care and I'll [?????] again soon I LOVE YOU Vickie
