Meeting was opened at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 5th 1923.
Minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved to [?].
Present business: The question of Mr. W.P. Chang's unpaid board bill was brought up. [?] moved and seconded that the amount of the board be deducted from the income to the club for services. moved and seconded that a letter be written to Mr. Chang.
Mr. H.C. Wong tendered his resignation from his position in the Executive Council, but it failed to be accepted. It was moved and carried by Mr. Wong's suggestion that everybody be compelled to fill in 1/2 hr. cleaning House on Saturdays.
Mr. Hao moved that the student body picture be published in the Chinese Student Quarterly. Passed that Club pay $5.00 toward defraying the charges.
Meeting adjourned 1 p.m.

Meeting was called to order at 12:10 p.m. March 17 1923 Minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved by motion of Mr. Shen then seconded by Mr. Sah.
The question of inviting the Cosmopolitan Club to hold their meeting in our Club House was brought up for discussion. However Mr. Taam Wu made the ammendment that we invite the Cosmopolitan Club on a social program to be prepared by our members. The main motion as amended was passed by majority vote. Further it was moved that a committee of 3 composed of 2 members and the chairman be appointed to prepare the social.
The matter of exchange dinner between our Club and the Sequoia Club. It was moved and seconded to postpone the proposition till Conditions in the Club improve.
Mr. Chuck moved and Mr. Sah seconded that 1 chair be bought by every member all uniform size, 1/2 the price to be paid by the member, and the other half by the club, the title to belong to the Club.
Motion was made and carried that one person be elected to take care of the eating Club.

Special Meeting
The meeting was held in [Yuan?] Tong Low. S. F. Sep Oct. 1, 1922.
The following members and alumni were present:
Messrs. N.Y. Yue, Gumdock Chan, Ta'am Wu, H.C. Wang, D. Che Henry D. Chen, Haw, Wang and F. Y. Chuck and S.C. Tan and Dr. James Ho.
The first business was the discussion of the rules regulating the renting rooms & the applicants. It was suggested that the poorer [needy?] and private students be given the preference in renting the rooms In case The number of persons living in the house is to the limited to 20.
If a student whose manners and custom are disagreeable to live with the [Americans?]

Spring quarter.
April 2nd 1923.
The first meeting of the quarter was called to order by the chair at 8. p.m. 4/2/23. Minutes of the previous meeting was read and adopted with minor corrections.
The report of the club treasurer was tendered and approved.
Election was in order.

Special Meeting, Nov. 2, 1923
1. Meeting called to order by the President. Minutes of the previous meeting was read and corrected.
2. The question was brought up as to how the rebates from the Bookstore should be disposed of. There were remarks that the fund had already been given to the House, to be used at the discretion of the Manager. The question was thus referred to the House Manager. The Manager reported that he had assumed responsibility for the fund, but that he would place it back to the disposal of the members if they should so desire.
3. There were motions that future rebates from the Bookstore be used for buying books for the Club, and that the fund be deposited in bank as a sinking fund for depreciation of the building. But both motions were lost for want of a second.
4. The meeting was then adjourned.

Mr. Sah was elected treasurer.
President Taam asked introduced Mr. Kwang from Canton Christian College.
Mr. Sah brought out the business of teaching the Chinese cooks here. He suggested that the Chinese Club should take as a duty to teach these cooks. inquire about the abo buisiness, and see if it is advisable to teach them.
House manager reported the balance of the house expenditure.
Henry Cheu brought up the point of late talking during the night. Mr. Huang said that such disturbances might be reported to him hereafter.
Eating manager Ho follows with a very serious business which is that no body had time he could not [fined?] anyone to cook in Friday, Wednesday & Monday morning. The meeting buzzed up i questions were asked, but every body had class. Sah suggested Mr. Tse. Mr. [Chien?] suggested quick lunches. Finally Mr. Tse & Mr. Shen were asked to be the cooks of the said time. Then the manager hoped every body be satisfied when the [Shech?] students is arranged.

The house manager brought '[out?] the curious phenomenon of laying glasses, bowls, tea [pottles?], etc., in places other than the Kitchen. Then somebody moved that those people should be fined. Then it was a made a rule that no one be permitted in the to drink or eat in places other than the Kitchen & the Dining room. And it was agreed.
Then President [reported?] about the subscription matter for friges. Mr. P.T. Sah was read [as?] T.P. Sah by the president and the former protested. The president begged Sah's pardon.
The meeting was adjourned by the president by saying if no further business, we will have [?].

Second Meeting : Spring Quarter April 11th
Meeting called to order by the president at quarter past seven p.m. Minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary & adopted.
President answered to Sah's last suggestion concerning the teaching of the Chinese cooks around here. The club was not going to take [?] the teaching job for lack of time on the part of the members. part of [the?]
Then the president submitted his first [?] to the club, namely to change{insert}that the proposal that the club should {/insert} have a [changing?] Banquet with the Japanese Club each quarter. Mr. Huang moved that we the Club will decline to do so for two reasons: first, the equipmentclub for cooking is not well equipped in its cooking furnitures. And second, the Chinese club Japanese club, though warm - face, to not may not be warm [written?]. The president put the motion to vote. It is passed by majority vote. Sah suggests that the club should refused the {insert}Japanese{/insert} offer by the Japanese club cordially.
President submitted his second [to?] program, namely part of his to the club a [Fu?] second motion, namely to invite the Cosmopolitan Club to a social in our club. After some discussion, Mr. [Chien?] moved that the club should invite the Cosmopolitan Club to a social in our club. The president put the motion to vote: it was a not a majority; opinions are were divided; the motion was again put to vote; 13 favored the f motion, two opposed it. Ballots were then drawn; 13 fo said yes; four said no.
