1915 May [continued from previous page] Mr Crump also there. Walked home & went to gym. so tired I could scarcely breathe Steam on

Thurs. 20 Flopped around between both offices. Dinner at Hearth with Miss Phelps & Miss Galvin & walked home so tired. Getting much warmer

Fri. 21 Warmer. Worked in Unity Bldg. singing at 1.30 Dinner with Misses Phelps, G & H. at Hearth. Walked down State St. with Miss Galvin after & came home too tired to practice.

Sat. 22 Worked in Unity office Afternoon tea with Miss Galvin also dinner at place next door & then went to Dorsey pictures in Studebaker

May 1915 Sun. 23 In room all day. Editha came in afternoon & we had supper together & went to Trade Union play at Hull House.

Mon. 24 Finished Secretary report & ran around to bank etc. Dinner with Miss Phelps & Miss H at Hearth & walked home Finished reading "The Harbor".

Tues. 25 Showery day. Auditor in. Went to Post Office & got head up on registered letter. Miss G. & I had dinner at Ontra. I walked home pretty tired but in good spirits.

Wed. 26 Beastly cold day - showing Audition in. Met Ethel at Thompson's for lunch. Dinner at Hearth with Miss Phelps & Miss H & walked home [continued on next page]

1915 May [continued from previous page] went to gym. home and to bed

Thurs. 27 Still cold but steam on at 202. Preparing for convention. Dinner with Miss H. G. & Phelps at Hearth Walked home mended practised washed & went to bed.

Fri. 28 Singing at 1.30. Pottered all around town went to P.O. & got 6 copies of "Net of C". Steady rain all day. Preparing for convention.

Sat. 29 Worked in office getting ready for Convention wet day. Miss Galvin & I & Editha had dinner at Hearth & 3 of us went to "Along Came Ruth" at the Olympic - a terrible thing. Home & to bed

May. 1915 Editha came in afternoon & we went walking for a couple of hours & then I went to Fursman's for supper. Miss Henry there too. Clear day & cold

Mon 31 Stayed in bed till late had some bread & jam & then went to office. Agnes was there too. Dinner at Lincoln Parkway. Home & pottered preparatory to getting away Fine day - a little warmer

Tues 1 June. Very busy getting ready to go to the convention. Dinner at Hearth with Miss Phelps & Miss Galvin & walked home with Editha & packed up.

Wed 2 Lunch with Miss G. at Hearth & she put me on Wabash for New York Got shoes changed & ran around before leaving Felt rather train sick [continued on next page]

1915 June. [continued from previous age] so did nothing but read 2 magazines & went to bed early. Wet night.

Thurs. 3 Got to Buffalo at 7.45 left again at 9.30 reached N.Y. at 8.20 & was met by Myrtle & Louise & Agnes O'Brien & taken to the Y.W.C.A where I had a good sleep

Fri. 4 Went down to League at 43 E. 22 at 10 & held board meeting all day. Mrs R. took us all to lunch at 5th Ave restaurant. In evening a party of us went to see "Trilby" - a great treat. Talked till late with Mabel Gillespie

Sat. 5 Went to 43 E 22 Early & worked till 4 without stopping. Then took H. Svenson to afternoon tea & came home & slept. Dinner & dawdled & went to bed tired.
