June. 1915 Sun. 6 V. busy day till 4.30 then went bus riding with Mabel G. & then to dinner with Nancy Watson at Hotel Bretton Hall with Miss H. Wet evening

Mon. 7 Opening of Convention a day of terrific details connected therewith. Lunch at Rand School under guidance of Rose Schneider-mann. Evening meeting at Cooper Union & walked home via Bowery. Got to bed late

Tues. 8 V. busy day at Convention. Lunch at Rand School. Home & to Suffrage reception from thence to dine with Nancy & P.S at Bretton Hall & say goodbye to them

Wed. 9 Busy all day at Con-vention. In evening went to Neighbourhood Playhouse & were entertained & had meeting of Finance [continued on next page]

June. 1915 [continued from previous page] Committee in the corner of Roof Garden. Lunch with Mrs Ripley et al at Suffrage lunch room

Thurs. 10 Nomination day. Everyone so tired they were dizzy. Lunch with Y.W.C.A secretaries

Fri. 11 Very full day. Elections went all day at Y.W.C.A. Lunch at University Club as Miss Updegraffs' protigees.

Sat. 12 Final day of Convention. Met all day. I escaped a presentation but finally was caught and given a beautiful pair of opera glasses. Lunch at Y.W.C.A with Mr and Mrs Bremer.

June 1915 Sun. 13 Went to Helen Marot for lunch then car & bus riding with Miss H. for 2 hours & then dinner with Miss H. Mrs East Miss G & Mrs Spraggon at G. C. Stn.

Mon. 14 V. Busy day on minutes & correspondence. Lunch at University Club with Miss Updegraff. Helen McDowell came at 4.30 & took me bus riding. Went to bed early & had good sleep.

Tues 15 Office [previous word crossed out] Board meeting at 43 E.22nd St. Mrs R. took us to lunch at 5th Ave. Res. Oh, how I expected to be free & they tied strings on me. Thunderstorm. So exhausted that I was ill.

Wed 16 Proofs with Mrs Robins in morning. Went to League in afternoon to sign letters. After dinner Miss Gillespie and I called on Miss Davis at Bryn Mawr Club. [continued on next page]

June. 1915 [continued from previous page] Warm day. Desperately fatigued

Thurs 17 Went with Miss Galvin & Mabel Gillespie to call on Lawler, Golden etc. Lunch at Wanamakers with Mary Marot proofs with Mrs Robins. Dinner with Miss Davis, Bancroft & Hale at York Club

Fri. 18 Went to office at 43 E. 22 to do proofs with Melinda & then came home & went to bed in afternoon. dinner in bed. lunch with Agnes Johnson at League Cafeteria.

Sat. 19 Stayed in bed for breakfast. Worked in room all day had lunch with family. Little sleep in afternoon. Not feeling so badly considering.

June. 1915 Sun. 20 V. exhausted. Slept practically all day. Worked a little in evening. Sat on roof after supper with Bartlett girls.

Mon. 21 Went to 43 E. 22nd St & A.A. L L in morning. Lunch with Alice Bean at Scharf's. Home to Y.W.C.A & had a doze. Miss G. Miss H. & I went to "Chin Chin" at night & walked home after.

Tues. 22 Worked & went shopping. Lunch at University Club. Mrs Loch Richardson came for dinner with Miss Henry & we all talked in living room afterwards.

Wed. 23 Worked on proofs stayed in house nearly all day. In evening rode on top of bus to see Mrs Gilman & her hubby in own house & have [continued on next page]
