THUR. FEB. 10 1916 Got up did some washing ironing & packing & walked farther - all right except eyes
FRI. FEB. 11. 1916 Finished packing and prepared to leave. Took carbolic sponge.

SAT. FEB. 12 1916 May Meggitt took me to train & Miss Coope came later & saw me off on 3.35 for Newport. Met at Station by Phyllis & her father & taken in taxi to their home. Very delightfully received by Mrs M. 2 nurses returned from Serbia on train
SUN. FEB. 13 1916 Went for a walk in afternoon Miss Alexander & Fred Dixon came to spend evening.

TUES. FEB. 15 1916 Stayed in house all day. Suffering from strained eyes. Dr Tonks called & prescribed a tonic
