I read that in one of the prisons of Utah is a man condemned to die because he dared to use the right our fathers fought for to Speak and believe as he pleased.

Kind sir, believing as I do that Every man should be looked upon as Innocent until proven Guilty and as Mr Joe Hill apperse to be innocent of the crime of which he is accused, and believing that in having Joe Hill shot to death would be very wrong are ready to follow the dictates of a monied aristocracy to the detriment of the Labroing class. I pray that you desist from so vile and notorious an act.
