Sat Apr 13
Clear and still and nice and warm. Will hauled manure onto the Orchard. I helped him some but I have spent a very unpleasant day because my blamed old truss would not hold me but I got in some time at the cleaning off the strawberry patch.

Sun Apr 14
Clear and very nice and warm. Reas and Charleys folks were here to day [today] and we had a very nice visit with them. Otherwise we kept Sunday better than a great many who think themselves extra good.

Mon April 15
Mostly cloudy it began to blow early in the night and had kept it up very forcibly ever since but it looks like being a little calmer after while. Will done Sunday odd jobs but I didnt [didn't] do anything to speak of for my miserable truss does not do me any good hardly and I have been waiting to get another for some time.

Tues April 16
Clear and pretty nice. We went to town and done several errands and among the rest I got a different kind of a truss and so far it seems to be an improvement on the one that I had. After we got home we worked at clearing the strawberry bed.
