Gentlemen,
Article 13 of the By-laws of this Corporation invests the Committee on Lots, among other duties, with "the general supervision" x x "of all questions of right -- between individual proprietors, or between proprietors and the Corporation." --
Messrs Stickney and Poor, who are the proprietors of lots 3118 & 3119 situated upon Rosebay Avenue, con-- taining 2000 square feet, a year or two since contracted with a granite man for a curb around their lots and last year employed the Superintendent to set the work up. -- After the work had been commenced, a difference of opinion arose between the Superintendent and

Proprietors' Annual Meeting _ _
Proprietors' Annual Meeting Monday, .

In accordance with the notice prescribed in the amended charter (a copy whereof is hereto annexed) served upon the members of the Corporation and published in one or more of the Boston newspapers, the Proprietors met at Horticultural Hall, Boston, on Monday, at 3½ o'clock, P.m.
A quorum being in attendance, the President, Dr Jacob Bigelow, took the chair. _
The Secretary red the call for the meeting, and the records of the last annual meeting.
Trustees' Annual Report _
The Annual Report of the Trustees was also read by the Secretary. ~
Motion to accept Report of Trustees tabled _
Mr Alfred Turner moved to accept the Report of the Trustees. _
Mr John R. Poor moved that the motion to accept the Report of the Trustees lie upon the table, _ which motion was adopted. _

as is comprised in the following words,
"He shall not receive from any proprietor, or contractor for work or materials, any commission, or fees, or any compensation for any services rendered by him," -
is hereby approved; and nothing contained in Article 3d of the By-Laws shall be so construed as to conflict with or set aside so much of said amendment of the By-laws as is hereby adopted and approved.
Committee of five chosen to consider subject of Amendt to Art. 7 of By-Laws and report at adjourned meeting _
Pending the consideration of the aforesaid order,
Mr John R. Poor moved
That a Committee of five be appointed to take the subject of the Amendment to By-Laws Article 7 into consideration and report thereon at a meeting to which this meeting shall be adjourned. _
The motion for commitment being first in order, was put and adopted. _
Upon motion by Mr Jesse Holbrook, it was
Voted that the Committee be chosen by nomination at large;

Choice of Trustees postponed to Adjourned Meeting _ On motion by Mr Alfred T. Turner, it was
Voted that the election of Trustees be postponed to the meeting to which this shall be adjourned
Meeting to be notified in same manner as Annual Meeting _
Further, upon motion by Mr A. T. Turner, it was
Voted that this meeting stand, adjourned to, at half past three o'clock p.m., and that the Secretary be instructed to notify the meeting in the manner prescribed in the charter for the Annual Meeting.
