Tuesday ? of 23rd of ? good whole sail brese from the North and fraying clouds ruined a whale this Morning at half past 7 o'clock but did not lower an account of being so wild at 9 o'clock lowered all ? but the same as before this afternoon nothing but finbacks ? east south east Lut? Long

Wednesday the 24 of December A ? Light wholesail brese and pleasant weather ? east bu south nothing in sight this afternoon the same ? Ends all these 24 hours ? Long

Thursday Decemebr 25 Light wholesail brese again this morning from the N west ruined whale from Aloft beforenine o'clock lowered all 3 boats from them but to no effect very wild this afternoon the same nothing in sight ? S east by East ? Long

Saturday the 27th 1845 Light wholesail breeze from the Northwest and cloudy weather Steering East S east nothing in sight Crew breaking out fon[?] new foresail rigged it and bent it so ends these 24 hours Lat oo Lon 101 east

Sunday December the 28 this morning we have a light breeze from the Nwest and pleasant weather Steering a course E S East this afternoon the same nothing in sight 104 Long

Monday December the 29 AM light wholesail breeze and cloudy weather steering our course Afternoon the same with an increase of wind very rugged weather carrying studdingsails going at the rate of 10 knots per hour

Tuesday Dec the 30th AM strong wholesail from the NN West and rugged weather steering our course this afternoon shortened sail before 12 Oclock all sail taken but maintopsail and foresail mainttopsail close reefed blowing almost a gale of wind so ends these 24 hours

Wednesday december the 31 1846 AM blowing very heavy yet raining this forenoon with close reefed main topsail and foresail and staysail heavy squalls of wind and rain at 12Oclock made sail a little rather more moderate so ends these 24 hours Lat lon 108
