Sundays & receive pay if present. No others will receive pay for Sunday work unless absolutely necessary for purpose of interments.

Day, Rainey, & J.D. Hare can be employed in all weather they are present; all other men will be only allowed for such days as they work after Feby 1st, and I expect you to stop the work if the weather is too stormy to make it possible to work to advantage .

As this arrangement is somewhat different from the present one, you have better see that all parties understand it.

Yrs truly J.W. Lovering Supt.

Geo. W. Squire Esq

Dear Sir

Lot 4247 which you made application to have examined for perpetual care is enclosed with lot 4248 in the same curbing. The Trustees in each case are unwilling to take one lot without the other -- I wish -- to ask if Mrs Gragg wishes to place 4248, under perpetual care of the Corporation as otherwise it is useless for me to report 4247 to the Trustees.

Mrs John Sargent

Dear Madam

I received a request in regard to changing the grave of lot #2134, on Asclepius path where I learn you are intending to put in steps & [posts?] in the spring.

I am satisfied that the Trustees would not consent to any change of grade unless the lot was curbed as well as posted. The grade of the lot now is 12 inches above the path, and the stakes should be cut for this rise. I send you a sketch of the lot that your stone cutter may make the ^stakes of proper length to reach from lot to the path line.

When the front steps are ready, I should be very glad to have them set for you by our masons who do most all the work of this kind in the cemetery & who will give you entire satisfaction at a reasonable price. If you could secure a plan, I could give you the price beforehand. The corporation desires to do all work done in the cemetery as far as it may be acceptable to proprietors.

Respectfully J.W. Lovering Supt.
