Pursuant to a call issued by Chairman Jones the Board of Park Commissions of the City of Seattle met this 12th day of May 1891 at 8pm in the rooms of the City Clerk in the Butler Block: At Roll Call the following members are present to wit W.E. Burgess Abram Barker W.E. Bailey Danl Jones & C.N. Evans being absent.
On motion Com. Burgess took the chair & called the meeting to order: On motion of Baily the Board adjourned to meet May 19th of 1891 at 8pm.

Be it remembered that on this the 6th day of June 1891. The Board of Park Com's of the City of Seattle met pursuant to a call by the Chair. At roll call the following members were present Danl. Jones Chairman W. E. Burgess C. N. Evans A motion was made to adjourn until Wednesday June 10th 1891. at 8 P.M. Carried.

Be it remembered that on this the 10th day of June AD 1891. The Board of Park Commissioners of the City of Seattle met pursuant to Adjournment in their Rooms in the Baker Block: At Roll Call the following members were present to wit: Daniel Jones Chairman Abram Barker W.E. Bailey WE Burgess C.N. Evans
Whereupon the following proceedings are had.
Minutes of the last meeting read & approved.
That Bill of the Standard Furniture Co. for Tables for the Commission Accounting to $35.00 was approved & ordered paid!
Committee Reports The Committee on Rules & Regulations submitted a typewritten copy to each member officiated. Rules: On motion action was deferred until next meeting & Committee retained.
A motion was made that a Committee of 3 be appointed to wait on the University Regents with a view to finding and upon what terms the University Site can be purchased. Motion Carried. Chair appointed Messrs Bailey, Barker & Evans with Instructions to report at the next meeting.

The matter of improving the Queen Anne Park was brought up & on motion action deferred until next meeting.
Mr Bailey made a motion that the Park Com's refund to the City their salary as Park Coms. Seconded by Barker. After some discussion the motion was withdrawn & no action taken.
In the matter of assessments for Park Fund purposes the Finance Committee were ordered to report at the next meeting.
The Committee appointed to confer with the County Commissioners in regard to School Lands were given until next meeting to report in.
On motion the Board adjourned until Wednesday June 17th at 8 p.m.

Report's of Committees The Finance Committee reported on the matter of levying assessments for Park purposes — recommend that a tax of one mill on the dollar be levied. On motion the report was adopted as read and The Finances Com — were instructed to transmit their report to the City Council for action.
Report of the Special Com. regarding the University site - Stated that the Regents had decided to plat the site and sell it at public aution. On motion further action deferred until next meeting.
From Saml Cour on School Lands report Nothing can be done before Sept. 1st 1891.
The Com on Rules and Regulations: Subsitutted the following Rules and Regulations and on Motion they were adopted as amended.
