In the name of Almighty God  Amen -

I Rowland Hassall of Parramatta in the Territory of N.S.Wales Gentm. being weak in body but of sound disposing mind and memory thanks be unto Almighty God Do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in writing in manner following that is to say I commit my soul to Almighty God from whom it came and my body to the dust in the sure and certain hope of a resurrection to Eternal life through the only merits of the Lord Jesus Christ And as to all my worldly Estates and Effects after the payment of all my just Debts and Funeral expenses I will devise and bequeath the same in the following manner. That is to say I will devise and bequeath unto my eldest son Thomas the following farm and lands that is to say Stoke farm containing 400 acres, Arkells farm 100 acres and Hearns farm 65 acres all situate in the District of Cook also Rositer Farm containing 36 acre and Mr. Gledies farm 30 acres both situate on the Hawkesbury River in the district of Mulgrave place and to his heirs. I will devise ans bequeath unto my second Samuel Otoo, all my farm and lands called McGrove  containing 400 acres situate in the district of Cook and to his heirs. But always subject to the rent charge or annuity hereafter mentioned. I will devise and bequeath unto my third son Jonathan all that farm and lands called Cubbady containing 500 acres situate in the district of Cook and to his heirs I will devise and bequeath unto my fourth and youngest son James all that farm of land called Wards Farm containing 300 acres all that farm called Apseys farm containing 100 acres all that farm called James Blackburn's farm containing 40 acres and all that farm called George Caves farm containing 60 acres all situate in the district of Cook afforsaid

and to his heirs I will devise and bequeath, to my eldest daughter Mary Cover Lawrie wife of the Revd. W. Lawrie and to her heirs all that farm of land called Kerby corner containing 100 acres and all that farm of land called Hoom Farm, containing 100 acres of land both situate in the district of Dundass, I will devise and bequeath unto my second daughter Elisa all that Farm of Land called Coventry, containing 200 acres and all that Farm of Land called Dondells farm containing 40 acres, both situate in the district of Bringellie and to her heirs. I will devise and bequeath unto my very dearly beloved wife Elizabeth Hassall all my dwelling house at Parramatta, wherein I now reside, with the garden, orchard, yard, buildings, premises and paddocks, now appertinent thereto and every part thereof to hold during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I will devise and bequeath my said dwelling house, premises, garden, and orchard, unto my said eldest son Thomas and his heirs.

I will devise and bequeath all that farm of land called Burdin Park, containing 120 acres all that farm of land containing 70 acres, granted to myself called Hassall's farm, all that farm of land called Bolgers farm containing 95 acres and all that farm of land called Davis's Farm containing 80 acres which four last mentioned farms are situate in the district of Parramatta unto my said dearly beloved wife during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after the death of my said dearly beloved wife as to the said four last mentioned farms of Burdin Park, Hassall's Farm, Bolgers farm, and Davis's farm, as well as the two Paddocks now appertinent to my said dwelling house, I will devise and bequeath the same and every of them unto and amongst all my children

said dearly beloved wife by her last will and testament in writing or other instruments in writing under her hand and seal shall direct and appoint and for want of such appointment or will then share and share alike as tenants in common, I will devise and bequeath unto my fourth daughter Ann, all that farm, and lands called Brown Farm containing 50 acres situate at the foot of Prospect Hill and to her heirs. I will devise and bequeath unto my second Samuel one of my town allotments in the town of Liverpool and to his heirs. I will devise and bequeath unto my said son Jonathan and to his heirs the other of my town allotments in the said town of Liverpool. I will devise and bequeath unto my said daughter Mary Cover Lawrie all that dwelling house and premises situate in the north side of George Street in the town of Parramatta, which house and premises is now in the occupation of one John Mitchers, and to her heirs. I will devise and bequeath unto my third daughter Susannah all that dwelling house and premises situate in the south side of George Street Parramatta, part of which is now used as a place of Divine Worship and part in the occupation of one Edward More,and to her heirs. And whereas I am possessed of a considerable stock horned cattle, sheep, horses, mares, and swine and which are of considerable value, I do hereby will, devise and bequeath all my said stock of horned cattle, sheep, horses, mares and swine of every kind, age, nature, and description unto and amongst my said dearly beloved wife, and my said eight children, Thomas, Samuel, Jonathan, James, Mary, Eliza, Susannah and Ann, share and share alike in equal division and proportions and as to my household furniture and plate in my house at Parramatta wherein I now reside I will devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my said dearly beloved wife and as to

before in this my will mentioned or devised, I will devise and bequeath the same unto and amongst my dearly beloved wife and all my children share and share alike and my will and desire and intention is that the estates real or personal in this my will devised unto such of my children as shall happen to of the age of twenty one years or married at the time of my disease, shall be delivered and devised to them respectively at any time that they shall require the same to be done but not sooner than six months after my disease, and the estates real or personal in this my will devised to such of my children as shall happen to be under the age of twenty one years or unmarried at the time of my disease shall be delivered and devised to such child respectfully as they become of the age of twenty one years or be married whichever shall first happen. And I further will and devise and my intention is that as to all by real estates devised in this my will that in the event of the death of any of my children without issue the estate devised unto such child or children shall in such case go to and be divided amongst amongst my surviving sons, share and share alike as tenants in common, and as to my personal I will and devise and my intention is that the share and proportion thereof which shall or will by virtue of this my will come to any of my children which shall happen to die under the age of twenty one years without issue or being married the share and proportion of any child so dying shall go to and be divided amongst my said dearly beloved wife and the surviving children share and share alike. And whereas I have expended a considerable sum of money in the improvement of the farm and lands of [Mac Quarie?] Grove, in this my will before devised to my son Samuel which renders it of more value than any of the [indecipherable] devised to my other sons, I do hereby will, devise and [indecipherable] the said farm and lands with [an annuity?]
