Sat. Sept 2nd

Up on deck all day after breakfast talking to southerner.

Sun. ['Aug' crossed out] Sept 3rd

Up & feeling on the mend.

Mon Sept. 4th Warm day - all on deck - getting up luggage. Stayed up till 11.30 waiting baggage inspection - immigration etc.

Tues Sept 5th Rose at 5 a.m Got baggage inspected breakfasted left at 7.30 from Quebec. Arr. Montreal at 1 p.m. Left for Ottawa at 4. Left for Toronto on 11.26 went to bed at 9.30. Could only get upper berth

Wed. Sept 6th Arrived Toronto at 8 a.m. arrived at Detroit at 4.30 too late to catch afternoon train. Dined & went to see Miss Phelp's friends & left on 11.00 for Chi. Went to bed in lower sleeper at 9.

Thurs. Sept 7th Arriv. in Chi. at 9 a.m. went to office & had breakfast at Hilman's. Office force lunched at Randolph Inn. Came to flat & Zelie & I had dinner.
