Saturday 21st Sub matron & Laundress out

Sunday 22nd Mrs Hartley conducted morning service Mrs Blow afternoon Do Matron & Officers out to their usual services

Monday 23 Nothing of importance to record 11 pupils

Tuesday 24 Queens Birthday the Inmates worked until the dinner hour and spent the remainder of the day in various amusements being supplied with cake, fruit, etc for a good tea and visited in the evening by Mrs Gregory & Blow, Misses Williams & Bibby Mr Rowsell coming in during the afternoon and taking several Groups of Snap shots much to the amusement of the Inmates. Miss Morley out for the day.

Friday 27th Revd G Trowes conducted Service 12 pupils

Saturday 28th Matron & Teacher out for the afternoon

Sunday 29th Sister Laverty conducted morng Service Mr Smith conducted eveng Do Matron & Officers out to their usual Services. Edith Sym taken by her nephew to see her Mother who is very ill.

Monday 30th Mr Beiles Edith Syms Nephew called to ask the Matron to mention to the Committee his desire to take his Aunt home to his own house. he could not appear before the Comttee himself as is business would prevent him 11 pupils

Tuesday 31st Ladies Sub Committee. Rebecca Moore requested to be let go away no persuasions could induce her to remain the Matron was instructed to keep her until the morning and let her go Florrie Jones asked to go to her Sister to get her clothes The Committee advised that she should write to her sister asking her to bring them to her. Edith Sym spoken to upon going to her nephew trusting that she would keep steady The Matron's Requisition book signed. Mr T.P. Keene conducted evening Service. 11 pupils

Monday 6th Florrie Gill engaged as Servant to Mrs Paton of Tamworth at 4s/- per week for six months & 5s/- the remaining six months if she deserves it 11 pupils

Tuesday 7th A very wet day no Committee Mary Ann Kearney brought from the State School & received 11 pupils

Friday 17th Lizzie Hammond left for Service to Mrs Middleton of Kalangan at 10/- per week. 13 pupils

Monday 20th Minnie Wynn received a letter from her husband requesting her to join him at Bourke She left this during the morning. Dr. Norrie visited and prescribed for the Teacher and Several Inmates

Tuesday 21 Ladies Sub Committee Margaret Ravenswood brought by her Mistress Mrs Parker for running away admitted. Miss Williams Journal read & Matrons Requisitions book signed

Friday 24th Mary Smyth very abusive to the Laundress & quarrelling with the Inmates. pupils

Saturday 25th Nothing of importance to record.

Sunday 26th Sister Bibby with Sister E Walker from New Guinea who gave the Inmates a very interesting account of their Missions.

Monday 27th Mary Smyth very quarrelsome - upsetting all work. 13 pupils

Tuesday 28th Mary Smyth so abusive & threatening such dreadful work that the Matron gave her her clothes and let her go away fearing something worse may happen. Ladies Sub Committee No business Miss Williams Journal read and the Matrons Requisition book signed 13 pupils

Wednesday 29th Mr White brought his third daughter Amy 14 years of age to be received 14 pupils

Thursday 30th Mr Bowsell conducted eveng Service 14 pupils

29th Florrie Gill left for her Situation as general Servant to Mrs Paton of Oaklands Tamworth at 4 & 5 shillings per week.
