Monday 11th Hannah Turner refused to work and requested to be let go away her Father having given orders that she should only leave this in charge of a Police man the Sergeant has been informed of her desire. 10 pupils

Tuesday 12th Sergeant Jeff took Hannah Turner away this morning. Ladies Sub Committee Mrs M'Clelland signed the quarterly accounts. Miss Williams Journal was read and the Matron's Requisition book signed Mary Woolohan taken to Service to Mrs Skilbeck of North Sydney at half a crown per week. 10 pupils

Monday August 1st Evalyne Bruce applied for admission recommended by Miss Williams and was received. Ellen Trevey an Inmate died this evening very suddenly she had been sick with Influenza like the other Inmates but did not rally so quickly. 10 pupils

Tuesday 2nd Ladies General Committee Louisa Engles and Evalyne Bruce admitted. The Ladies kindly proposed an entertainment for the Inmates at the Jubilee August 21st. 10 pupils

Thursday 4th The Laundress saw Dr. Norrie who ordered her away for change. 10 pupils

Friday 5th Laundress gone away. 10 pupils

Saturday 6th Mary Halloran asked admittance and was received Matron out during the afternoon

Tuesday 9th Ladies Sub Committee Mary Halloran, Bella Balmes and Mary OBrien admitted. Polly Sewell spoken to, a Situation being in prospect for her. 10 pupils
