Monday 3rd Bella Williams a former Inmate asked admission and was received in a deplorable condition through drink. 10 pupils
Tuesday 4 Mary Charlton taken to Service by Mrs Price at five shillings per week. Ladies General Committee Bella Williams admitted Fanny Whitman Father asked permission to take her home. consent was given. Mrs Hodson called asking that our Missionary might accompany her to the Hospital to persuade her daughter (who was being treated for taking poison) to come to the Refuge the Matron promised to send to her. Teacher sick in bed no School.

Wednesday 5th Miss Williams accompanied Mrs Hodson to the Sydney Hospital. brought the girl to the Gates when she refused to enter, she therefore took her to her friends.
Thursday 6th Nothing of importance to record
Friday 7th Miss Williams brought an elderly woman a former Inmate Mrs Cantor to be received. She was taken in notwithstanding her former record of being unable to work. Four of the Inmates in bed with the measles, they have also developed upon the Teacher.
Saturday 8th Cantor gone away could not work had an order for Newington. Amy Inman a young girl of 16 sent by the Director of Government Charitable Institutions, received

Monday 10th Dr. Morris visited and prescribed for Maggie Pinkerton who is suffering from a gathering on her breast.

Thursday 20th Gentlemen's Committee Passing quarterly accounts - Mr Reeve informed the Matron that he had read the papers sent to him from the Inmates and that he would come next Tuesday evening and give the prizes he offered them. 9 pupils
Friday 21st Dr Norrie visited and attended to Maggie Donaldson's finger and looked at Maggie Pinkertons breast both cases he considered progressing favorably. 9 pupils

Tuesday 25th Ladies Sub Committee Phoebe Vaughan brought by Miss Williams not being considered a proper subject for this Institution her case is left over until next Tuesdays General Committee. Maggie Donaldson's Mother asking to take her home her case is also to be considered on Tuesday next. Mr Mills C.M. who brought Donaldson to the Refuge particularly requested the Matron to inform the Committee that her Mother's home was no place for Maggie. Mrs Collins asked to take her Daughter Amy home consent was given her. Mr Reeve conducted a Service this Evening at which the three prize winners had to read their papers. 1 Amy Collins obtained a nice Desk 2 Bella Balmer a very useful work box 3 Edith Edmontone a very nice work box Lizzie Scott or Douglas asked permission to go to Druit Town to get some clothes she had left there The Committee thought Miss Williams might get them The Matron wrote to Mrs Hainke this
