In the matter of the Estate of Prest. Brigham Young decd.

To Albert Carrington one of the Executors of said Estate.

Pursuant to an order of said Court in said matter made and entered therein this day you are hereby cited to appear at the Court Room of said Court at the Court House in Salt Lake City on Friday the 12th day of April 1878 at 10 A.M. at which time and place the petitions of T. W. Ellerbeck and of others, sureties to your official bonds as Executor of said Estate praying to be released therefrom on account of your future acts will be heard. Given under my hand this 2nd day of April A.D., 1878

Dear Sir:

The undersigned being, and having been one of the sureties for Albert Carrington as one of the executors of the last will and testament of the late Brigham Young, deceased, now comes and prays to be "released from any responsibility on account" of the future acts of the said Albert Carrington, as executor aforesaid, and your petitioner as in duty bound will ever pray

Judge of Probate in and for said County:

Dear Sir:

The undersigned now respectfully asks to withdraw his petition of 27th ult. in which he asked to be "released from any responsibility on account of the future acts of Albert Carrington as one the executors of the last will and testament of the late Brigham Young, deceased" and hereby declares his willingness and desire to retain and continue to retain his incurred responsibility aforesaid until further notice.
