Williams & Bailey. ATTORNEY AT LAW. FORT WORTH, TEXAS.

Sept. 14, 1901.

The Honorable, the Mayor and City Council, Fort Worth, Texas.

Gentlemen:-

Pursuant to your resolution, I have prepared a deed from Mrs. Fannie Leach. Nona Leach, Leonard Leach, and Albert Leach, conveying to to the City of Fort Worth a strip of land along the East end of the Leach homestead within the boundary lines of College Avenue, extended as a continuously open street of the same width throughout as in its present wider parts.

This deed has been executed and acknowledged by the parties above named.

The resolution of the Council having made no provision for an abstract of title, I made such inquiry as was reasonably open to me, and, believing from the representations of Leonard Leach, that the deed passed the title of the heirs of Thomas Leach, deceased, and finding that the title of Thomas Leach was, during his life time, taken as good on important transactions, I certified the completion of the transaction to the City tax collector and asked to have the taxes cancelled as directed in said resolution.

I have left the deed with the City Secretary with the request that it be filled for record and have also filed with the Secretary the affidavit of Leonard Leach.

This report is made to inform you of my action in compliance with
