I or a special committee appointed to investigate and report on the acquistion of that portion of the Leach homestead that juts into Colby avenue would respectfully report the proposition hereto attached and would say that I have personally inspected the ground and think the city should unquestionably accept the proposition and direct that the city attorney prepare deeds and attend to the details and that upon the city attorney of the completion of the transaction the tax collector shall cancel all taxes as in said proposition put forth
