Mr. J. T. Montgomery, City Secretary, Fort Worth, Texas.
Dear John:- Please note the attached letter from Mrs. R. E. Buchanan, and carbon copy of my reply to her.
I wish to have the matter taken up at the next meeting of the City Council, and wish you would kindly hold the papers for me. In the meantime please see Ben Waggoman and ask him if he can have the grounds cleaned up as requested by Mrs. Buchanan. Yours truly, John F Lehane

My dear Mr Lehane - I come to you again with another petition - We women of the fourth Ward have raised money to put trees around our school grounds. I want to know if you cannot get the City trams to come

and haul the piles of dirt left from planting these trees and from work on cement wallks - also if you cannot get said trams to plow our school grounds so we may sow grass and plant flowers. We will appreciate your help in this matter. Please let me hear from
you by Friday, we women have a meeting on that day. Yours truly Mrs. R.E.Buchanan 814 Macon St Lawd March twenty fourth
