Be it resolved: That the advocates of Asphalt Paving for Houston St. and the Contractors who are soliciting the work, be given 30 days more days in which to arrange for paving said Street with Asphalt, from curb to curb.

Be it further resolved that at the expiration of said time, if arrangements have not been made whereby the paving of the said street with Asphalt shall be assured, then property owners shall be permitted to pave with Vitrified Brick, similarly to the manner in which said was contracted for and done on Main Street.
