115 — 1885 — — Westmore, Vt. — — Willoughby Lake — — July 24 — This A.M. Mrs D. & I took the little steamer "Magie" and sailed down the Lake, crossing twice, to the valley of Westmore. We made a short stay there and returned in time for dinner. The air on the water was refreshing and the Mt. cliffs showed in all their boldness. It rained all the P.M. and we staid in the Hotel fixing our plants and writing. I collected a few plants to-day. Viola pubscens, Ait. var. ericarpa, Nutt. Achilla millefolium, L.
