I notified Mrs Kendall March 24th 1885 that the fence on lot 1225 was unsightly and should be put on order or removed.
The fence can be removed the corner posts recut and the number of the lot cut for the old material

I notified you March 24th 1885 that on the French lot #584 there was a rusty gate hung on broken posts that should be removed and that the headstones need to be plumbed and cleaned-
These things are unsightly and should have immediate attention

Very many of the proprietors are removing the fences from their lots which is considered an improvement besides [ridding?] the continued expense of painting
The fence can be removed 4 posts recut [for the corners and the number of the] lot cut for the old material

In regard to the complaint made a few days ago as to the condition of lot 1770I have looked into the matter and find that there is as much shade there that it will be hard with any care that can be given to keep the lot looking well
There will be no use of sowing grass seed or making any further repairs while the lot is uncared for
