Dear Sir

Your note of 23rd inst addressed to our Sec'y has been handed me for answer The lots #348-812 & 817 contain each 260 ft according to our records and the corner posts as set on the ground bound substantially that amount.

The individual lots are not marked off in any way the intermediate posts now there (on rear line) have no reference to the boundary line - These could be set so as to mark off the three lots at a small expense

one half of each kind to be delivered Aug 31st and balance Sept 13th or 14th

Dear Sir

Mr Hooper has just given me the location for stone going in the Harvard College lot but I do not understand from your letter if you want a foundation 4 ft x 4 ft or one 4 ft x 5 inches. If it is to be 4 ft x 5 in had you not better send out the stone and let it be built into the foundation.
